Superstar Wrestling
Which 1 is better to have as a WWE superstar, mic skills or actual wrestling talent?
I just wanted to know because it seems evan bourne is good in the ring but where is his personality as a wrestler? If the WWE let him on the mic more, he could be even talented.
It’s hard to tell. There’s been some great talents who havn’t been the best on the mic such as Bret Hart or Jeff Hardy. However there’s also been some great Mic skills who are average or less in the ring such as The Miz. The thing is, you’ll never find a Main-Event wrestler who has great mic skills, and isn’t at least decent in-ring. However you can find some vice-versa like I mentioned in Bret Hart and Jeff Hardy. For them to work though, they have to be as good as it gets in wrestling regards, a great gimmick, and great creative storylines to push them, both which Hart and Hardy had. However, to truely be the greatest you had to have Mic Skills, preferably both. Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, The Undertaker, Goldberg, Hulk Hogan, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, and the list goes on. The list is much shorter for those who can just “wrestle” simply because if your not unique in some way, in regards to your gimmick and wrestling which is much harder to do without mic skills then your not success at becoming a legend is much less likely.
