What is the difference between Stainless steel band ring and a 14K white gold band ring?

no, the stainless steel won’t turn green over time. It will stay the same. The color is different (more grey for the steel) and stainless steel is mainly used in a matte finish whereas most white gold is shiny. In the end, steel is considered a base metal, whereas gold is a precious metal. Gold will have a much higher re-sale value. Other than that, personal preference.
