To give both the Audience in the Arena and the television audience a major event to think about for the entire show. The WWE Booking Team scripted this to get people to taking. I don’t consider it to be that big a waste of Draft Picks because The Supplemental Draft moved 22 wrestlers and Divas today and there is no guarantedd that the WWE won’t hold another Supplemental Draft tomorrow for all I know.
