How do you fix your reputation?

Last school year I made the really big mistake of going out with a guy I had no idea had such a bad reputation. We went to different middle schools and I guess he got the reputation of being a major man-whore there. I didn’t know this about him and I went out with him. I had no idea until one day he tried to get me to go way too far. I got mad at him and a few days later we ended up breaking up. Now no one will date me because they think, and I quote, “she must have really low self esteem and must be a slu.t if she went out with him”. I am NOT a slu.t! And anyone who really knows me, knows that. I was decieved and this guy used me. Now I have a big black mark on my rep that shouldn’t be there at all! So the question is, How do I fix my reputation?

You 1st let it drop don’t defend the fact that you went out with him. Admit you went out with him and found out what a man whore he was, and that he tried to take thing way to far. You didn’t know at the time but wish you had. This will be forgotten in about 2 weeks to 1 month. I know it’s kinda long but it will be forgotten. The next guy you go out with make sure he is a nice guy and he knows there are some things you will not do. Then your reputation will begin to get back to where it was. Some of this is being done by girls who are jealous of you, so I wouldn’t let that bother you very much. They just can’t stand the fact that you are better looking than they are. I know I had friends who had this type of problems in high school and I knew what others were saying behind her back and I had to deal with setting the record straight. Don’t let it bother you to much.
