I don’t want to leave?

My mom wants to move to Atlanta and i don’t want to, she is moving because my aunt is really bad (called me a slu*t, her bf is stupid, watches me eat wtf). I wanna move to an apartment but how do i tell her? We are moving when i finish 8th grade, I’m in 7th. I live in the Bronx but i don’t want to move so far away from my friends, i at least wanna follow one of them to a good HS.

Im turning 14 in april
Ive moved as a child too every year this is the second year in the same school for the first time.

I moved several times as a kid. It was a scary experience until we actually got to our destination and started the new school and met new friends. When I look back on it now, I am glad that I had the experience to start over fresh and make new friends. I managed to stay in contact with some of my old friends too. That should be really easy for you in these electronic days. Things like Face Book and My Space have made it easy to keep in touch with people that you knew as small children. You have your whole life ahead of you. Don’t be afraid to go where life takes you. Make new friends as you go along. It sounds like the living situation in Atlanta will be much better for both you and your mom. Why not give it a try and make the best of it? You might even find out that it is a blessing. There is an old saying that when one door closes, another door opens.
